Senior Honors Thesis, Department of Media and Journalism

- Thesis considers how technology of today can transform public history, bringing history to local communities and enhancing the relevance of historical narratives by presenting and distributing information in modern media formats and graphics.

- The second portion of my thesis is a motion graphic (animation) that illustrates the life and legacy of Benjamin Shambaugh, a leading figure in the inception of Public History as a respected field of study.

- Thesis considers British stereotypes of Boer Women and how the evolution of these perspectives throughout the nineteenth century bred animosity towards Boer women which ultimately led to physical violence against Boer Women in the early 20th century
